More than seven months have passed since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic. In less than a year since the Coronavirus (COVID-19) transpired, the pandemic has changed our lives. It is hard to imagine right now that when this crisis will end, and things will get back to normal. Well, some things will go back to the way they were. For others, there will be a new normal. Hundreds of millions of people have lived through lockdowns, Many have to working from home and millions have lost jobs. One day the doors of offices will swing open, but the workplace inside may never be the same before. The changes has shown people can be productive working remotely, and many employers are planning to give employees more flexibility in the future. This will naturally have an impact on office utilization, design, and footprint; especially among companies that adopt a hybrid work model that enables workers to combine working remotely with working from the office. The office of the future may be modified to support remote collaboration and social connections that are best served in person. It may become a communal hub for training, seminars and career development. In all cases, the office must be equipped with the appropriate technology to effectively connect a more distributed workforce.
